工程The 工程技术 curriculum provides two degree pathways, 机械设计与机电一体化(机器人). There are also four certificates that feed these degrees, allowing for stackable credentials. Both pathways contain courses that build knowledge in basic and advanced drafting and design principles using various 2D and 3D CAD systems as well as integrating lean principles.

STEM @ Triton

小女孩GADgET 《女孩在设计中冒险, 工程 and Technology) is a summer program funded by a grant from the Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs Foundation of FMA (Fabricator Manufactures Association) designed to introduce female youth between the ages of 12 and 16 to the world of manufacturing through hands-on projects and site visits to manufacturing facilities. 澳门赌博平台 commends the hard work and creative thinking of Proviso Math and Science Academy’s Monty Pythons Robotics Team for being named a regional finalist in the 2012 For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, 还是第一次, Robotics Midwest Regional Competition in March at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago.

More than 50 participating teams competed in groups of three and were faced with the task of building a robot that shoots basketballs through a hoop. Triton’s own 工程技术 instructor 安提戈涅Sharris served as an expert source to the Monty Pythons (Team 2151) of Forest Park in constructing their complex robot that placed second in the Midwest Regional in collaboration with WildStang Team 111 of Schaumburg and Hammond Team 71 of Hammond, Ind.

4月7日, the team will show off their creation at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago for National Robotics Week.
